Say "I Love You" With Scents and Fragrances

Today I read a brilliant article title 29 Creative Ways to Say “I love you” by Relevent Magazine. Being February, Valentines day is on a lot of people’s minds, Facebook status’, and many other things. Some are not too keen on it whilst others are relishing the month and have already sorted out their “something read” :)

What I liked about the Relevant article, is how to use this month to show love to the different people in our lives. Below are just a few of my favorite suggestions from that awesome list.

1. Write an Alphabet of appreciation.

2. Watch a sunset or sunrise together.

3. Hand write a letter.

I’ve previously attempted to write a letter for every year that my husband has been on this earth. Quarter way through this I knew I wouldn’t finish in time, so I was happy to have written the ones that I did.

4. Read together.

I usually read with the kids, so this will be quite interesting to do with another adult. :)

5. Share 5 minutes of uninterrupted eye contact.

This reminds me of a fear-setting exercise than Tim Ferris sets in his The Four Hour Work Week book – only then you’re making eye contact with strangers!

6. Call the folks and thank them.

And at the top of my personal list I would add:

7. Breakfast in bed.

Heaven.

Have a lovely February folks. What would you add to your list?
